As a slow summer approaches us Vancouverites, we are preparing ourselves for the sun, warm weather, and beach appropriate attire.  Around the world the sun is already shining and we are getting a fresh look into what is going to be “in” for summer. As we all love to browse through magazines to find that perfect swimsuit to suit our type of body, its hard when all you see are stick thin models and realistically there are a handful of us that do not look like Victoria Secret models, or any type of that model. Don’t be discouraged by this! Don’t think, “screw the beach, I will not be seen in any type of bathing suit”, change your perspective and think like me.

Happy Thursday everyone! Or shall I say, happy H&M x Marni collection unveiling, everyone!

Okay so that doesn’t quite ring as sweet as my first greeting but you can already guess what today is…  the release of the much anticipated H&M x Marni collaboration.

We visited Spoiled Nail Bar last week and their brand new space on Broadway. Intimate, stylish and definitely not your cookie-cutter nail bar. We loved their promotion of the month. The Me Me Me Manicure is a full service manicure that gives you the option to come in within two weeks for a free colour change. My nails always start chipping by this time so it’s ideal to come in for a fresh coat in a new shade. Click here to check out their promotions.

For many there is nothing better than spending an afternoon shopping! On Saturday March 17th from 12 to 4pm, you have the chance to meet and purchase items from some of your favourite Vancouver fashion bloggers. They’ll be setting up shop downstairs in the Hideaway at the Waldorf Hotel in Vancouver. There is a $2 entrance fee to cover the event location, with all additional proceeds going to Dress for Success Vancouver.
