Vancouver has long since been known as “Hollywood North”, however, it looks like our grip on the title is starting to slip. In 2011, for the first time since 2004,  Ontario overtook B.C. as the number 1 film and television production centre.  This still is not enough to give them the title of “Hollywood North”. They’ll have to do it for a few consecutive years before we relinquish that title.

A visitor to our fair city Thomas Stratmann filmed his whole stay in over 600 clips and produced a music video from the footage. The little movie is the official music video of “The Very First Teenager”, an electro DJ duo from Hamburg (the town in Germany where he studied).

The second season of HBO’s hit series “Game of Thrones” has everyone excited, even the writers over at FOX who came up with a brilliant Simpsonfied intro this past weekend. Winter is almost here.
