West Fine Art Show
24550 - 72nd Avenue
The weekend of August 20 to 23, 2015 will see Langley’s Thunderbird Show Park play host to the 6th Annual West Fine Art Show ~ Remembering Betty Edition. This show has been developed through an ongoing partnership between the West Fine Art Society and the Langley Hospice Society, a unique collaboration with show founders and well-known, Langley-based artists, Murray Phillips and Brian Croft to create and bring one of BC’s largest and most prestigious art shows to the Fraser Valley. The move last year to the Thunderbird Show Park really allowed them to showcase their Langley connections, and create a destination art show that sees thousands of attendees throughout the weekend.
This year’s show will see featured artists from throughout Western Canada onsite, including well-known sculptor, Brent Cooke, recent winner of the prestigious Canadian Wildlife Federation 2015 Robert Bateman Award for wildlife conservation. Show organizers are excited about the opportunities this creates for the public to interact with the artists and their work throughout the weekend, and find out more about the Langley Hospice Society and the services they provide.
