6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
1455 Quebec Street
Join CPAWS and the David Suzuki Foundation for an evening to explore the amazing North Pacific Coast and some of the groundbreaking efforts to protect and manage the region’s rich marine resources.
The event will start with a film screening of the Great Bear Sea: Reflecting on the Past, Planning for the Future which explores the beautiful and rugged coastlines of BC’s Great Bear Sea and efforts to protect these incredible waters and support the coastal communities that live throughout the region.
After the film you are invited to join us for refreshments followed by a discussion about how we can create a secure future for our coastal waters, followed by a Q&A with an expert panel.
Whether you want to ask questions about shipping traffic, oil spills, protecting our oceans, or just sit back and enjoy the conversation… the choice is yours!
