The popular VanDusen Plant Sale returns and over 10,000 eager gardeners are expected to attend to pick up their botanical treasures.
Gates to Vancouver’s largest plant sale officially open at 10 a.m. sharp. The sale will feature more than 40,000 individual plants ensuring there is something for every garden, from Perennials, Trees and Shrubs, to Natives, Vines, Roses, Vegetables and Herbs. By the time the gates close at 4 p.m, it is anticipated that there will only a few lonesome plants remaining. What does remain is donated to senior’s residences and long-term care facilities.
Admission to VanDusen is free on sale day, and all funds raised are for the VanDusen Botanical Garden Association, the registered charity that is one of the two partner organizations that operates VanDusen Botanical Garden and Bloedel Conservatory.
