Vancouver Improv Fight Club is back in the ring on Thursday, May 14th, celebrating the FOUR YEAR ANNIVERSARY of The Fictionals’ comedy showdown, and raising funds for Aprons for Gloves! To pack it all in, we’re taking over Joe’s Apartment at 919 Granville St. for the biggest main event in VIFC history!

We’re adding new Hardcore Challenges for our comedians, including a mini Superfight Match between rounds and a Battle Royale featuring surprise fighters! If you’re an improviser in the audience, put your name into the Question Block of Doom for your chance to step into the ring!

Plus a portion of ticket sales and the 50/50 raffle will go to support Vancouver’s own Aprons for Gloves:

Founded in 2012, Aprons for Gloves Boxing Association is a non-profit organization focused on providing community outreach through the sport of boxing. Based in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, the organization re-established a historic boxing program for at-risk women and youth, offering free mentorship and training to individuals who may otherwise not have the resources or support to participate in such activities.

Who will walk away as champions this month? At the end of the showdown- featuring long-form improv and classic “Whose Line” games – it will be audience judges that decide who lands the knockout punchlines, so come on down!
