Saturday March 15 through an including Monday March 17, 2014.
The Blarney Stone, voted Vancouver’s Best Irish Pub, will be hosting it’s 42nd annual St Patrick’s Day Party, this year with a Block Party Style theme. The event runs from Saturday, March 15, 2014 with a start time of 12:00pm up to an including Monday, March 17, 2014, ending the outdoor events at 7:00pm, but keeping the party going inside the Blarney Stone for those 19+. The outdoor portion of the event is indented to bring the historic Gastown and Irish communities together in celebration of our diverse cultural neighbourhood.
In 2014, the Blarney Stone is focusing on a family oriented day event and gearing the nightly events within the Blarney Stone toward our 19+ crowd. We will be blocking off Carrall St from E. Cordova St to E. Water St, making way for our Marquee style staging & tenting, our extend heated patio, live music, balloon art and face painting, circus acts, traditional Irish dancers, interactive performances and a variety of festivities tailored toward all ages and walks of life.
We urge local businesses and residents to come and take part in the entertainment we have provided, we are working with a great team of entertainment management companies to make this event the best it can be and we feel it is the perfect setting for family gatherings, pub crawl groups, music enthusiasts, foodies and the good old luck of the Irish, after all, everyone is Irish on Paddy’s Day.
