Simon Fraser University’s Surrey campus is “inviting the world” to its annual Global Community Open House on Wednesday, March 4 from 4:30-8:30 p.m. The event features a host of interactive exhibits, information on academic programs and an array of cultural performances that celebrate the community’s diversity.At this year’s event visitors can cheer on robotic battles, interact with technologies that manage chronic pain, test “wearable” technologies, sample “Face Fries,” learn about the science of beer brewing and check out the latest student innovations. They can also investigate new and developing health technologies, being created and fostered through SFU’s Digital Health Hub.
