A new not-for-profit society Dynamic Networking Ladies will combine their passions for community and creativity to raise money and awareness for the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society of Canada. These fantastic women will join together at The Royal Canadian Legion, delivering a fun shopping bazar to those in and near the area. Shoppers can experience all the ‘Rock Out to Spring Bazaar’ has to offer! Local entrepreneurs and artists will showcase their works for purchase. Why did these women choose to support the MS Society? One of the group’s members, Tammy has been living with the disease since being diagnosed in 2010 with Relapsing Remitting MS. Tammy remembers well, it was “not the news I wanted to hear. I had just woken up one day with my foot a bit numb, thinking I just slept wrong […] it never went away just seemed to travel to other parts of my body and affect me in ways I didn’t understand”.
Since her diagnosis, Tammy has begun walking with a cane and can’t travel terribly far. She and her husband have held similar events of their own in the past but wanted to gain further awareness and funds. “So our events were born and I have grown from doing these events tremendously, giving back to help find a cure hopefully in my lifetime” explains a hopeful Tammy. Now that she has partnered with the Dynamic Networking Ladies, they plan to affect several organizations with this positive energy.
Headed by Meg McPhee, Dynamic Networking Ladies Society are taking a spin on Tammy’s original events, raising awareness to further benefit the MS Society and include other charities in the future. “We are planning to do multiple events throughout the year, approximately every 2 to 3 months, raising funds for different charities”.

About Multiple Sclerosis and the MS Society of Canada
Multiple sclerosis is a chronic, often disabling disease of the brain and spinal cord. It is the most common neurological disease of young adults in Canada. Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 15 and 40, and the unpredictable effects of MS last for the rest of their lives. An estimated 100,000 people in Canada have MS, making us the nation with the greatest number of people affected per capita. The MS Society provides services to people with MS and their families and funds research to find the cause and cure for this disease.
