9:00 am - 12:00 pm
10312 King George Blvd
Do you have food in your house that no one ever touches? Those canned items you thought your family would eat but have been in the pantry for months, maybe years. If you finally want to get rid of those cans, Quality move Management in partner with Move for Hunger has the answer. Join QMM on April 11th, 2015 from 9:00am-12:00pm at the Surrey Save-on-Foods on 10312 King George Blvd. QMM will be collecting non-perishable items and 100% of the food donations will go to the Surrey Food Bank. We will also be raffling off tons of great prizes for those who donate.
Move for Hunger is a non-profit organization that started 4 years ago. Their primary focus is to collect unwanted food items and donate them to local food banks. They understand that it is quite common for people who are moving to throw out a good amount of items, especially food. This food could be given to people and families in need. By teaming up with relocation companies they are able to collect any unwanted food items from people on the move.
Since the program began 4 years ago, Move for Hunger has already collected 2.3 million pounds of food. That equals to about 1.9 million meals.
Quality Move Management, a relocation company in Delta, is proud to be part of such an amazing program. Since their involvement in the program they have collected over two thousand pounds of food.
