Psychology Talks: Collaborative Problem-Solving Parenting
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
350 West Georgia
This is an introduction to the Collaborative Problem-Solving model developed by Ross Greene. This presentation will provide parents and caregivers an alternative perspective on challenging behaviour by understanding the meaning behind it, and by considering children’s emerging developmental skills. It will teach parents and caregivers strategies on how to resolve conflicts to get a “win-win” outcome, all the while promoting their child’s and own social and emotional skills.
