Join approximately 5,000 supporters of comics, games, anime, sci-fi, cosplay and alternative fashion at the second annual Northwest Fan Fest. Northwest Fan Fest is a community organized fandom celebration, and in 2015 it will held for the first time at Anvil Centre from May 29 to 31.

Anvil Centre, a brand-new multi-use civic facility which held its grand opening September 14, is located across from New Westminster SkyTrain Station, less than a 30-minute Skytrain ride from Downtown Vancouver.

“We’re excited about re-locating to Anvil Centre. Not only is it a beautiful building that’s easily accessible to everyone in the Lower Mainland, but there are plenty of food vendors nearby and great photo opportunities in the Quay and Pier Park right across the street,” said Brian Hughes, the 2015 Northwest Fan Fest Show Director.

Many features of Northwest Fan Fest will be returning. Attendees at NWFF 2015 can look forward to the biggest Costume Contest in BC, a variety of out-of-town and local guests from the creative industry, live performances from musicians and improv theatre, numerous panels covering all areas of fandom, a dedicated area for gaming of all kinds, an Artist Alley, Vendors Hall, and much more.

With adult one-day tickets available for $20, and 3-day tickets available for $40 until Dec 31st, Northwest Fan Fest is poised to be one of the most affordable, convenient fan conventions in Metro Vancouver.

Northwest Fan Fest is currently welcoming applications for panelists, vendors, artists, and volunteers. Ticket sales are open on the Northwest Fan Fest website now, and numerous in-person registration options will happen at other events & stores around town in the coming months.
