Kin Kanyon is a 4-piece stitching the gap between folk rock, power-pop, soul, and
psych one hook at a time. Their genre defying sound contains some strong
influences from the 60s and 70s and instills a feeling of nostalgia while remaining
uniquely fresh and current.
Formed in 2012, Kin Kanyon has been playing a variety of shows in and around
Vancouver, and brings an infectious fun to every set they play. They released their
self-titled debut EP in 2014, and are currently working on their sophomore effort
entitled Kin Kanyon II, alongside Luckas Glickman – an Australian/Canadian music
producer recently acclaimed for his work with Tame Impala side project, POND.
