A Night of Miracles
7:00 pm - 11:30 pm
1128 W Hastings St
Vancouver, BC Canada
The South Asian community has been a key partner in the success of BC Children’s Hospital Foundation for 16 years. The commitment and dedication of the community has ensured that its
fundraising initiatives continue to gain increasing success. Last year’s A Night of Miracles gala, which raised $369,000, is no exception.
The 2014 A Night of Miracles is a 400 person black-tie gala celebrating support from the South Asian community – the only one of its kind in the Lower Mainland. Held at a prestigious Marriott
Vancouver Pinnacle Downtown, guests will enjoy an elegant evening with exclusive live & silent auction, entertainment and the ever popular dance at the closing of the evening.
A Night of Miracles is committed to raising $3 million to fulfill its pledge to the Campaign for BC Children and the construction of the Special Procedures Suite, including an interventional radiology room, in the new BC Children’s Hospital. Interventional radiology enables caregivers to treat or diagnose conditions with the most minimally invasive technique possible. Images are used to direct interventional procedures, which are usually done with narrow tubes called catheters. These procedures provide seamless assessment and intervention for children with cardiac, neurological and other complex conditions.
Funds raised from this event will go toward this important project. Treating our patients like kids goes beyond health care. BC Children’s receives over 81,000 patients each year and every one of them is away from home, school and the things that make them feel safe.
Tickets: Tables of 10 – $5,000
