310 West 4th Avenue
Caracas brings “an unforgettable mix of Latin grooves, rock adrenalin and a high-energy live show!” They mix Punk rock with Latin rhythms in an exciting molotov cocktail of eclectic, fun and fiercely original rock.”Caracas has the ability to combine the energy of good ol’ punk music with Latin-infused guitar riffs, while maintaining the spunk needed to stand out in the business.”
John Michael Lind sings about lonely back roads, broken hearts, and redemption. Son of a hard-rock miner, raised on the prairies, JML has the heart of an artist and a collar of hard-working blue.
Steeped in folk and roots music, with influences from Van Morrison to John Prine, JML writes songs that feel real, that connect with people on many levels. JML’s debut CD Out on the Land is 6 finely crafted original songs about kids, farmers, heartbreak, longing, and snow.
The Georgia Straight calls it a “crisp-sounding EP… Lind’s ticket to the next level of fame.”
