Located steps away from the SkyTrain’s Canada Line, KPU Richmond is home to the university’s Chip and Shannon Wilson School of Design, offering many one-of-a-kind credentials that cannot be found at other post-secondary institutions including the bachelor of design in product design, among the first of its kind in Canada; the bachelor of design in fashion and technology, the only four-year degree program of its kind in Western Canada; and the bachelor of interior design , the only program to receive accreditation from CIDA, the Council for Interior Design Accreditation.

Outside of the Wilson School of Design, the campus offers a range of programs and courses in academic and career advancement, the arts, business, and science and horticulture—including a bachelor of applied science in sustainable agriculture, a program unique to North America. The Richmond campus also offers a variety of continuing and professional studies courses for learners to upgrade specific skills, and continue their education.

Unique to KPU Richmond is the Melville Centre for Dialogue—an on-campus space designed for presentations, guest speakers, and workshops. The campus also features graphic design computer labs with industry standard equipment and software; interior design work studios; production and sewing labs; and fully-equipped science labs.
