KDocs: Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s Documentary Film Festival

KDocs is celebrating the power of documentary film with their Documentary Film Festival, led by learners and educators from all of of KPU’s communities.The event will showcase award-winning documentary films, keynote speakers, filmmakers, panelists, exhibitors, and community members. Participants will engage in lively discussion, debate, and dialogue as they investigate today’s most pressing global issues.

On Saturday, March 14, KDocs will feature three different films including Honor Diaries, Do The Math, and A Dangerous Game:

Honor Diaries
The film features nine courageous women’s rights advocates with connections to Muslim-majority societies who are engaged in a dialogue about gender inequality.

Do The Math
A chronical of America’s leading environmentalist, Bill McKibben battles to fight the fossil fuel industry and change the terrifying math of the climate crisis.

A Dangerous Game
The sequel to the award-winning You’ve Been Trumped, Anthony Baxter follows American billionaire Donald Trump and other characters who seek to turn some of the Earth’s most precious places into golf courses and playgrounds for the super rich.
