Jazztown – 26th Festival d’été francophone de Vancouver
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
1551, West 7th Avenue, Vancouver, BC
Vancouver, British Colombia
For the second night of festivities we invite you to discover the subtle and enchanting world of Jazztown, an acoustic version of the francophone jazz opera “Destin du Jazz-Club! – Vancouver”. This captivating musical adventure features a storyline that starts with rain falling on the glistening cobblestones of Water Street. A double bass rumbles, a trumpet wails. The Jazz-Club! is threatened… It is still part of the City’s heritage but how long will it survive?
In two unforgettable hours, this show presents three poignant love stories against a chaotic background, performed by twelve of BC’s best local jazz artists. Written by Pascal Saunier, the ‘’Destin du Jazz-Club! – Vancouver’’ is a clever blend of francophone music and theatre.
A press conference will be held before the show at 6 p.m. to mark the official launch of the album
