Jane Elliott’s Anatomy of Prejudice
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
530 East 41st Avenue
Jane Elliott was a Grade 3 school teacher who was trying to explain prejudice and racism to her class after Dr Martin Luther King was assassinated. She did an experiment with her students which was made into a PBS documentary called “Blue Eyes Brown Eyes” and over the years has done several other versions of that experiment with students, adults, in correctional systems and with corporations around the world.
The experiment Jane did that many years ago, unfortunately, is still very relevant today. In Vancouver she will be speaking about bullying, prejudice and discrimination on May 23, 2015.
