Now that camping and music festival season is winding down, I will be doing my meditation adventure workshops again on Sunday mornings.Join us for a fascinating immersive walking meditation nature tour that begins in a magical bamboo garden and goes deep into the rainforests of Stanley Park. See a side of this spectacular park that you’ve never seen before and discover the history, ecology and legends of the fabled Stanley Park landscape.

On each tour, you get to learn and practice immersive walking meditation. It involves anchoring your awareness in your breath and the feelings in your body so you can explore nature with deeper reverence and temporarily go beyond the judgments, comparison, labeling and analysis, which is the basic nature of the mind.

If you’ve always wanted to experience the amazing benefits of meditation but found that you struggled to maintain a practice, this immersive nature walking adventure will introduce you to a great active meditation technique that is easy and fun to do in nature.

This morning tour goes from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Afterwards, we usually get lunch together at a patio or cafe along Denman Street.

I don’t charge for the tour and we meet at the English Bay Inukshuk (1700 Beach Ave. on Google Maps)
