Join The University Women’s Club of Vancouver for a visually stunning afternoon at Hycroft!Set on 5.2 acres overlooking the city and harbour, with a panoramic view of the North Shore mountains, Hycroft was among the first houses built in Shaughnessy Heights.
Designed by renown Vancouver architect Thomas Hooper, Hycroft stands as a testament to the remarkable craftsmanship of the early 1900’s. It’s elegant rooms feature imported tile and marble, stained glass, rare woods, and ornate plasterwork by Canadian sculptor Charles Marega. Come learn about Hycroft’s three ‘lives’ and find out how The University Women’s Club of Vancouver has restored and maintained this wonderful landmark for all to treasure.
