Do you want to learn how to adjust some of the most commonly taught yoga postures in vinyasa yoga today? If you do, then this is the class for you! We’ll cover Downward Dog, Child’s Pose, Chaturanga Dandasana, Triangle Pose, Side Angle Pose, and Savasana and take requests for other poses, time permitting. Important for all teachers who are interested in helping their students progress in the asanas.

About Nicki Doane

Nicki Doane has been studying yoga in India for years and has been deeply influenced by the teachings of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and B.K.S. Iyengar. Her unique approach to Vinyasa yoga strengthens all aspects of your being through dynamic structural alignment, conscious breathing, and practical yogic philosophy; helping students find the deeper life of yoga.
Nicki currently lives in Maui, HI where she co-directs Maya Yoga Studio with her husband, Eddie Modestini.

About Eddie Modestini

Eddie Modestini has been teaching yoga since 1983. He is certified in Iyengar Yoga and has received Pattabhi Jois’s blessing to teach Ashtanga Yoga. Eddie Modestini is known as a teacher’s teacher, and is a master of yoga therapy. He is gifted with an eye for detail and a profound ability in reading students’ bodies. Eddie currently lives in Maui, HI where he co-directs Maya Yoga Studio with his wife, Nicki Doane.
