The Roxy Presents Faith Numada
Faith Numada is Canadian Country female who beautifully stands out among the rest.
Hailing from interior BC Faith grew up in a musical family of singers and guitarists and grew up singing at her local churches and community events. Faith went on to study Voice and Theatre at Trinity Western University. Through her University experience and finding her path, a school counsellor suggested songwriting to her. At first it didnt seem like a passion or problem solver to her situation. Faith found it strange to sit in her room with her guitar but soon found the therapeutic and creative process of songwriting. She has since written hundreds of original tracks.
3 years ago Faith recalls a pivotal moment in her career, on New Years Eve she was involved in a serious car accident and rushed to ER. As the medical staff was working with her she recalls thinking My one regret was how I have lately given up on music. She then promised herself to set her life back on track and pursue her dream.
Ive never looked back, nor been happier. Music was a big part of my recovery and is now integrated into who I am. I cant imagine being without it.
Since then, Faith has moved to Vancouver BC permanently and has worked with some of BCs finest industry talent in the Canadian Country community including songwriter and producer Dan Swinimer.
Faith is eager to learn and grow and attended the 2015 CCMAs in Halifax and soaked up every opportunity and networking chance possible. She also performed at the BCCMA Gala and Showcase in October of 2015 and attended the night of the awards.
Faith is currently writing and rehearsing new songs ready to hit the stage in 2016. She will work on a commercial single release due to radio out later this year. I believe music is healing and a gift you give others with an open heart, I cannot wait to share my new music with you all.
