Dirty Apron’s Chef David Robertson to judge annual Christmas On Salt Spring “Chilli-Cook Off”

Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 29th when Christmas on Salt Spring festivities officially kick-off! There’s a lot to taste, see and do! Vancouver Celebrity Chef David Robertson will be a guest judge at Salt Spring’s annual Christmas Chilli Cook-Off at 3:00pm in Centennial Park. Professional chefs and home cooks will square off to determine the best local chilli recipes. Christmas revellers are then invited to join in a sing-a-long, outdoor concert, with a selection of the Salt Spring Singers and Jim Raddysh at 4:00pm. Stay for the Light UP at 5:00pm when the giant tree in the centre of Centennial Park is switched on. Hot apple cider will also be provided.
