We have all seen the news about the Ebola crisis and felt helpless to do anything about it. A very worthy charitable organization, Doctors Without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), is working tirelessly in West Africa to help stop this outbreak. In fact, they have devastatingly lost 15 of their own volunteers to the disease. This cause is dear to my heart, as I had the privilege of joining a medical mission with two of my amazing colleagues to Liberia a year ago, before this started, and got to spend time with the amazing and resilient people of that country.

MSF doesn’t only work in West Africa, but have missions all over the world to deliver medical aid to low-resource environments. They need our help now more than ever. Best of all, unlike many other charities, 80% of donations received to MSF actually go to their relief efforts.

*Your tax credit will be calculated as follows:
Revenue from tickets sold + extra donations from those not attending + revenue from the bar + revenue from the raffle prizes = Total revenue – costs for running the event = Net revenue divided by number of ticket holders and donors = the amount you will each be credited for your tax receipt

Looking forward to seeing you there!
