An acoustic and folk-rock show to celebrate the awesome dudes who raise us.$10 at the door – $5 for dads or if you bring a food bank donation!
All proceeds will support the Heart and Stroke Foundation
Featuring headliners Jackson Marshall & The Jims, a new folk-rock 3 piece with eclectic inspirations that include folk, jazz, indie and classic rock, as well as acoustic sets from Bryan Michael (of the folk-rock group Bryan & The Toques) and Mark Lingelbach (of the progressive-rock bands Lambsbreath and Wizards of Love).
Later in the evening a short film called No Bad Days will be screened, memorializing Alan Hodgson, the father of show promoter Katie Hodgson. “Big Al”, a single father to two children, passed away last summer after suffering a sudden massive heart attack. As this is the first Father’s Day spent without him, Katie would like to share a short film she showcased at his funeral to celebrate all great fathers. Features music composed by Jackson Marshall & The Jims, recorded by Mark Lingelbach.
