MOA is pleased to announce the arrival of PILI Puppetry International to the museum for a special one-day event featuring puppets, a film screening, and a costume contest.Pili Puppetry combines modern and ancient technologies, acrobatics, and martial arts effects to recount and revive ancient tales and tell new ones in the digital world. On August 27, MOA will host representatives from PILI International, including the music director, puppeteers, and Cosplayers. The event will include a demonstration/performance followed by a film screening of “The Legend of the Sacred Stone” (2000), produced by PILI International, and a costume contest judged by internationally renowned Cosplayers from Taiwan. Come dressed as your favourite character or superhero for free admission to the event and to enter to win a special prize pack.

Come Play With us is the second event in a series called Spotlight in Taiwan, a four-year program launched by MOA that acknowledges the position of Taiwan as a bridge between the different nations of Asia and the West, and the countries and cultures of the Pacific.

Entrance is free with regular museum admission. Costumed visitors get in free.
