Bollywood Wedding is BACK!

A hit with critics and audiences alike, South Asian Arts is excited to announce the return of Bollywood Wedding. This is your invitation to see the most unique wedding of the year!

Promo video:

Be part of an elaborate & hilarious, outdoor, interactive dance and theatre event as two young Indians are brought together in an arranged marriage. Indian weddings are colourful and extravagant with fabulous clothing, an occasional melt down, some serious drama and lots of dancing. You’ll see all of that with our cast of 12 amazing actors, along with the always dazzling Shiamak dance team!

Held outdoors in a beautiful garden setting, the proceedings will begin in the light of the early evening and end with the beautiful setting of the sun, alongside the breathtaking snow-capped mountains of Vancouver. It’s the perfect Bollywood formula!

The audience will move from one location to another, taking in various scenes of the play, including the engagement, mehndi, maiyan, milni and of course the wedding itself. The evening will end with a big, interactive dance party at the wedding reception.

No effort will be spared in making it a grand and entertaining affair. If you’ve never been to an Indian wedding, this may be your only opportunity to participate!
