Bloedel Conservatory is celebrating its 45th Year Anniversary! Conservatory has been warming the hearts of Vancouverites and visitors from all over the globe! From its not so humble beginnings to its recent face lift, our little conservatory has had to overcome big challenges. Learn how this little gem came to be on Little Mountain and continues to thrive with the help of its big hearted supporters. Learn about how our bird friends, all their unique features and behaviours and how they came to call this home. Discover the importance of preserving our botanical diversity for future generations. We will have experts on site to answer all your questions about our aviary friends.
As a special treat, the Scandinavian Gnomes you know and love will join us in our tropical oasis and delight us with their charming musical tributes and hijinks. Kids will be treated to an aviary makeover by our talented face painters. Take home a souvenir photo and remember to Tweet us! Enjoy the sounds of the tropics from our steel drum band and other special treats!
