This year we celebrate the 20th Anniversary milestone of our fun, fierce and fabulous Bingo for Life event, benefitting the Vancouver Friends for Life Society – a non-profit organization that specializes in enhancing the wellness of people living with life threatening illnesses.Over the past 20 years, attendees have tried their luck at winning prizes donated by local businesses and community members. The support of our community and tireless efforts from the many amazing volunteers who help run the event on a weekly basis, have helped raise over $700,000 since Bingo for Life’s inception!

For our 20th Anniversary event on May 13, Scotiabank has said, “You’re richer than you think,” offering to match what we raise up to $3,000! This will be a huge opportunity to help raise money for the Vancouver Friends for Life Society amongst good friends, community members and double vodka sodas while playing for your chance to win an assortment of marvellous prizes!

We are happy to announce that the brilliant, bold and beautiful founder of Bingo for Life, Joan-E will be back as our renowned host for the evening. Joan-E (aka. Robert Kaiser), is a respected leader in Vancouver’s LGBTQ corporate, philanthropic and entertainment communities, and is also a two-time recipient of medals from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, having been awarded the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal in 2002 for his work in community service and again in 2012 when he received the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee medal.

Along side Joan-E will be the appropriately loud Carlotta Gurl who will ensure there is never a dull moment, as she entertains the crowd with her crazy, unpredictable antics. Whether she’s doing cartwheels, dropping into the splits or dropping ice down the back of your pants, you won’t be able to keep your eyes and ears off of her!

We welcome everybody out to this funtastic evening on May 13 at Celebrities Nightclub! Make sure you show up early to get yourself a spot, because this evening will fill up quick!
