An Art Therapy Approach to the Medicine Wheel
10:00 am - 4:00 pm
1090 West Georgia
Join us for a professional development workshop in downtown Vancouver. Our facilitator Sophia Schneider has been practicing Art Therapy for 25 years since graduating from VATI in 1989. Her breadth of experience is vast including private practice, several agencies and educational institutions, and many First Nations Communities.
During this workshop we will use creative process and developmental theory to identify areas in our selves that can be balanced to strengthen our commitment to personal growth, wellness, and successful resolution of life tasks. The First Nations concept of the Medicine Wheel is an ancient model used to promote a balanced use of your physical, social/emotional, mental, and spiritual gifts and challenges for personal fulfillment of our life purpose.
A light lunch will be included. Cost $50 for BCATA or CATA members, $65 for non-members. Student rate $30.
