Anecdotal Evidence: Stories about Science
6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
579 Dunsmuir Street
Everyone knows scientists are remote intellectuals uncluttered by untidy human emotions. Or are they?Ever wondered what twists and turns in a person’s life ultimately leads to a passionate career as a scientist? Or what stories lie behind the data? Or how non-scientists experience science in their lives?
Anecdotal Evidence is a storytelling series about the human side of science. The rapture in the research and humanity behind the abstract. Stories about love, death, animals, calculations, success, failure, natural disaster. How science impacts our lives on a personal level.
The stories are true, 7(ish)-minute tales told live, onstage, without notes.
Anecdotal Evidence will take place on May 16th, 6:00pm at The Railway Club on 579 Dunsmuir Street, Vancouver. There is a suggested donation of $5, and proceeds will be donated to Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland.
