An Evening of Intergenerational LGBT Readers and Performers

Readings and performances by Queer Elders and Youth. Readers are drawn from Youth for a Change (a youth advocacy group from Surrey) and Quirk-e (the queer imaging & riting kollective for elders).

Come hear them read new work about all things queer. These are works in progress as they collaborate on their new book project – an anthology under contract with international publisher, Peter Lang.

We’ll also be showing a sneak preview of digital videos made in our recent collaboration – mini documentaries about elder abuse in the LGBTQA community, filmed, written, and produced by queer youth and elders. This project was funded by the Council to reduce Elder Abuse.

Admission by donation – all proceeds to the project. Cash bar. Doors at 6.45, show begins at 7.00pm and will end around 9.00pm.
