The Chariot Festival of India is a timeless and dynamic event that showcases the ancient Vedic culture of India and takes place in Vancouver’s West End. The highlight of the festival is the parade along Beach Avenue, featuring a 30-foot high chariot.
After the parade there will be a free vegetarian feast, live entertainment, children’s activities, a marketplace and cooking and yoga demonstrations in Stanley Park’s Second Beach.
Starts at 11:30 a.m. at Beach Ave & Howe St (under Granville Street Bridge).
Finishes at Beach Ave at the Second Beach festival site at 1 p.m.
