From June 2 to 5, law enforcement runners will take to the streets with a message of respect and inclusion as they lace up in communities around the Lower Mainland for the 2015 BC Law Enforcement Torch Run in support of Special Olympics BC. On June 3, community members can join the fun by lacing up with the Granville Kilometre, making a statement for Special Olympics in the heart of downtown – 10:30 a.m. start at Granville and Georgia, finish at Georgia and Drake with light refreshments to follow.
The LETR is an inspiring global movement that raises vital funds and awareness for Special Olympics. Since 1990, the BC LETR has been a dedicated supporter of SOBC with LETR members around the province leading a variety of fundraising events throughout the year, raising more than $3 million to date.
