The Coho Festival celebrates the return of the Coho Salmon to the rivers and streams of the North Shore.
The 2013 Coho Festival will be held in Ambleside Park on September 8 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thousands of people attend this annual event to to enjoy free entertainment and the famous salmon barbecue.
The Coho Festival kicks off with the famous 14k Coho Run to Ambleside Park in West Vancouver. Watch the runners cross the finish line, then attend a Squamish Nation blessing of the salmon followed by live entertainment and a salmon barbecue.

Capilano River Regional Park, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Follow the journey of salmon from Capilano Salmon Hatchery to the ocean. Enjoy performers and discovery stations along the 4.5km walk from Cleveland Dam in a circuit to the Cleveland Dam, or hike the entire 8.5km trail to Ambleside Park.
