10th Annual Richmond Maritime Festival
11:00 am - 6:00 pm
5180 Westwater Drive
Celebrate Steveston’s waterfront heritage at the 10th annual Richmond Maritime Festival, August 9 to 11, 2013 at the spectacular Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site.
Learn local lore and try your hand at a variety of arts and crafts. Enjoy food, music, artists, storytellers, dancers and drummers all weekend and a kick-off outdoor concert on Friday from 6 to 7 p.m.
But whatever you do, don’t forget to visit the bounty of beautiful boats moored at the 190-metre (600-foot) dock, including the tall ship Lady Washington, as seen in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Star Trek: Generations and the television series, Once Upon a Time.
Free and fun for all ages, the Richmond Maritime Festival is one of Metro Vancouver’s largest, don’t-miss summer events.
