The NHL is definitely stepping up its discipline game.  Raffi Torres of the Phoenix Coyotes has been punished severely as he was suspended for 25 games for his hit on Marian Hossa of the Chicago Blackhawks Saturday morning.

For the second edition of Drinking with the Canucks I thought I’d pair Tree Brewing’s Beach Blonde Lager with the Adonis-like David Booth. When he isn’t putting points up on the other team, Booth is making the legions of women Canucks fans swoon with his blonde hair and blue eyes. The Canuck’s hulking leftwinger has flow that makes even the surfer bros on the beaches of Hawaii jealous.

The Canucks are currently trying to battle their way out of a 3-1 deficit against the L.A. Kings and Canucks fans couldn’t be happier. Cory Schneider has finally taken the reigns and established himself as the number 1 goaltender of this city.
