On June 10, 2013, clubZone will present the 10th annual Vancouver Nightlife Awards (VNA’s) at the Commodore Ballroom. This special event will honour excellence in the nightlife industry by awarding the best nightlife venues, events and professionals. 50 per cent of the voting is determined by an industry panel and 50 per cent is based on public voting prior to May 31st.

Catherine D’Lish, Foxy Tann and Miss Judith Stein headline tonight’s VIBF show at the Vogue Theatre. Last night’s performances brought out the best of Vancouver’s burlesque community. Tonight we should see more glitter, more sex appeal and a lot more skin.  

The Rio Theatre was packed last night, Thursday May 2, 2013.  Wall to wall with adoring fans and artists. Not a seat was left in the house and the performers delivered solidly entertaining performances. The Wet Spots (show hosts) were a hilarious  duo, with original song numbers – especially the one about hiding your dildo’s while in Texas! We loved their passion for burlesque!

Local Vancouver burlesque artist August Wiled will be performing in this years’ Vancouver International Burlesque Festival (VIBF). Only one year after her first performance at the Rio Theatre, where she astounded patrons with original numbers and won second place. The festival will run from May 2 to May 4, 2013 at the Rio Theatre (productions night) and the Vogue Theatre (showcase nights.)
