    Update: A second show has just been added. Tickets go on sale for that show on February 13th as well.

    With her record shattering halftime performance at Super Bowl XLVI (viewed by a record 114 million people) still fresh in peoples minds, details of the Madonna 2012 World Tour have been announced. It begins May 29 in Tel Aviv, Israel and touches down in Vancouver on September 29 at Rogers Arena. Surprised that she isn’t playing B.C. Place Stadium. This show will sell out, tickets go on sale February 13th via Live Nation.

  3. There is no Party like the Prince Party

    Any hint of frustration you might have felt after the 50 minute delay, mostly due to massive lineups and rigorous security search for cameras (quite pointless in the era of smartphone), would have melted away once the lights went out and the funky royalty appeared on the stage. No matter what you think about him, his ego or his sometimes eccentric behavior, one thing is undeniable – never in history of music has that much charisma been packed in such a small bundle.

  4. Vancouver’s DJ Hedspin, Crowned the Number 1 Party Rock DJ in the World

    This past week was quite possibly the best for Vancouver music fans in a long, long time. For many, it culminated with the crowning of the number 1 party rock DJ in the world at the RedBull Thre3style World Finals. The finals took place in the famous Commodore Ballroom last night in Vancouver and the winner was Vancouver’s own DJ Hedspin!

    Sting kicked off his long weekend in Vancouver last night with an amazing 2 hr + performance in front of a sold out crowd at the Queen Elisabeth Theatre. There are 2 more shows scheduled and it’s possible that there are tickets still available for Saturday’s one.

    Very diverse crowd gathered at The Venue to see the “Godfather of Goth” in person last week. The “new goths” dressed in black with their hair dyed in plethora of color and the “used to be goths” dressed in khakis and dress shirts and their hair now mostly grey due to natural causes.
