It looks like Scooby and the gang are in Vancouver solving mysteries. This is not being used for any movie or television production. The Mystery Machine has been around for a while. I’ve spotted it numerous times in the Fairview neighbourhood.

Vancouver is no stranger to exotic cars, many of which are being driven by young, supposedly rich kids. Last week Richmond RCMP pulled over the 22-year old owner of a 2012 Lamborghini Aventador only to find that the owner can’t afford the insurance. What!? How can one drive a $500,000 car and not afford basic insurance.

This Thanksgiving weekend, MINI and I decided to feast with family as well as donate to those in need. We cruised to the grocery store this Saturday and picked up several items for the Vancouver Food Bank. It was a gratifying experience that I highly recommend.

VcB: Tell us a little about yourself

Just five days ago, MINI Richmond handed me the keys to a brand new MINI Coupé S. It was one of the most thrilling experiences of my life. I finally had the opportunity to cruise around in my dream car, not just for a day, but for two whole months. I’ve been a fan of this little guy ever since I first watched the 2003 remake of The Italian Job. If you’ve seen the movie, you know what I’m talking about.

Vancouver is no stranger to exotic cars. Downtown and the surrounding neighbourhoods to the west are full of them. This past weekend passerby’s witnessed a rare sight, a $500,000 Ferarri F40 was smashed in an accident caught on video.
