Vancouver’s cat cafe is celebrating a milestone today after announcing its 100th adoption.

Opened just 5 months ago in Vancouver’s International Village Mall, Catfé is part cafe, part foster home for adoptable rescue cats from the BC SPCA.

“We are so grateful to the BC SPCA for their role in helping us reach this milestone, providing mentorship and trusting us with all their wonderful kitties,” a message on the cafe’s Facebook page reads. The lucky kitty in question is Ellie-May, who marked her adoption by chewing through the ribbon of one of her celebratory balloons.
