The TEDxStanleyPark conference is back in Vancouver to blow our minds with new ideas from innovative speakers – and it’s bigger than ever before.

More than 2,600 people are expected to attend the independently organized TED event at Queen Elizabeth Theatre on May 28.

Some 15 live speakers from all walks of life will take the stage this year, all of them trying to inspire your mind, offer visionary insights and provoke conversations.

Speakers this year include:

  • Dan Lok, multi-millionaire entrepreneur and bestselling author, speaking on a simple yet powerful way to achieve goals
  • Galya Westler, technologist, entrepreneur and founder of 2Galvanize Ltd., speaking on loneliness and technology addiction
  • Ryan Phillips, former professional ice hockey player and drug smuggler, speaking on overcoming adversity and making the world a better place
  • Maureen McGrath, host of the CKNW Sunday Night Sex Show and leading sexual health educator, speaking on why we’ve lost the lust and ways to get it back
