Playland at the PNE will open for the season this Saturday, when it flings open its gates to thrill seekers at 10 a.m.

The Beast, “Canada’s most extreme pendulum ride”, is back as well as the iconic Wooden Roller Coaster, the sky high Hellevator and the wet and wild Flume.

Triple-O’s, Cheese Please, What the Fudge, and the FunDunkers Donut Shop will also be open – but you should probably head there after riding the rollercoasters.

Playland will initially be open weekends only, until June 17, when it will begin opening on weekdays too.

Season passes are available on the PNE website for $94.50 or $99.50 on the gate. A day ticket is $32.50 online or $36 on the gate.
