Us Vancouverites love our great outdoors, and Grouse Mountain is no exception.

Climbing the Grouse Grind is a local favourite, and nature’s stairmaster is well worth the effort once you reach the peak and check out the view. Now you can enjoy experiences like this one at a cheaper price with the Annual Local’s Pass. We’re talking about a full access passport that unlocks some of Grouse Mountain’s coolest features.

With summer just around the corner, we thought we’d put together a list of some of the benefits Grouse Mountain passholders can enjoy.

Grouse Mountain’s Annual Local’s Pass

While summer officially kicks off on June 21, the weather in early May has been so glorious that we’ve been rocking shorts and tank tops already. And, in true summer tradition, Vancouverites have begun testing their fitness on the Grouse Grind. This challenging hike, nicknamed Mother Nature’s Stairmaster, consists of 2,830 steps and ascends 853 meters over 2.9 km.

The Grouse Mountain Annual Pass provides 365-days of mountaintop access, including unlimited Grouse Grind downloads. At $129 for an adult, the deal is pretty enticing, especially given how much there’s to see and do at Grouse Mountain.

Summer Mountaintop Yoga

Take your yoga practice out of the studio to the top of Grouse Mountain. After hiking up the Grind or arriving via Skyride, practice your downward dog on a free rental mat. Beginning on July 2, these 60 minute yoga classes will be led by inspiring YYoga instructors every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. You can enjoy them until August 28 (weather permitting) in the plaza at the top of the mountain, just outside of the chalet.

Discounts

The Annual Local’s Pass includes discounts – another noteworthy perk. You can bring two guests per day to access 50% off an Experience ticket. So, if you did that for just one day, you’d save your friends/family $42 – who knows, maybe they’ll pay you back by picking up the tab on lunch.

Winter

Winter isn’t kicking in for a long time, but as the mercury falls rises, Grouse Mountain becomes an essential snowy hotspot. This 365-day pass gives you access to awesome activities like snowshoeing, skating, the Light Walk, and more. Check out The Peak of Christmas and 24 Hours of Winter. Also enjoy one free skate rental, snowshoe rental, a ski/snowboard rental, along with 20% off rentals after you’ve had your comp.

Rev up your summer and winter by checking out Grouse Mountain’s website for more information. You can also join the Grind community on their Grouse Grind Facebook page.
