Fair In The Square back at Victory Park this Sunday

Face painting at Fair In The Square (Fair In The Square)

Fair In The Square is back for its 10th year, bringing live music, arts, crafts, face painting and a free BBQ lunch to Vancouver’s Victory Square Park this Sunday.

Performers include folk/rock musicians Coldwater Road, singer Christine Magee, musical theatre from Project Limelight, and Aboriginal ensemble M’Girl.

The fair at Hastings and Cambie streets will also be a chance to meet dozens of community groups with information to share – or grab some cupcakes made by culinary arts students.

Hosted by Central City Foundation in partnership with Vancouver Community College, the event aims to celebrate Vancouver and help you meet your neighbours.

The foundation is also running a photo contest – simply share a photo in the gallery on imaneighbour.ca, finishing the sentence “I’m a neighbour who _______________.”

Volunteers are always needed for the fair; if you’re interested, contact Deanna Wing at deanna.wing@centralcityfoundation.ca or (604) 683-2263.
