CHAU VeggiExpress opening on Granville Island

Maria Huynh, the proprietor of Victoria Drive’s popular CHAU VeggiExpress is gearing up to open a second location in the Granville Island Public Market.

Projected to open Monday, May 9 the eatery, which is praised for its creative vegetarian and health-conscious Vietnamese fare, will focus on take out and pick up orders, reveals Huynh.

Located directly across from Terra Breads, CHAU Veggie’s Granville Island outpost will feature the same savoury menu as the East Van locale. Customers can therefore expect to find an array of salads, soups, noodle bowls, and rice paper rolls on offer. CHAU Veggie’s desserts, however, will be limited to the Victoria Drive location only.
