If you’re not out on the seawall or frolicking in the sun at David Lam Park, warm summer days in Yaletown are best spent on one of the many outdoor patios the neighbourhood is home to.

Featuring restaurants, bars, and cafes, here is a list of the best patios in Yaletown (and a sneaky little one in neighbouring Crosstown too).

Chambar

Okay, so Chambar is technically situated in “Crosstown,” a slender neighbourhood between Yaletown and Gastown, however, since it teeters on the edge of both areas we thought we’d take the liberty and include the open air venue in our Yaletown round up. Seating 60 people, Chambar’s partially shaded patio is open from 8 a.m. to late (as long as the weather permits) and is a great place to enjoy a spot of brunch or a round of post-work drinks.
