Tap & Barrel’s third outpost is taking patio life to epic levels in North Vancouver. The Lower Lonsdale Shipyards location has a couple of patio options for customers who want to sip on wines (all barrelled) and beers (all taps) and the popular restaurant’s west coast casual fare.

True, you’re going to have to take a gondola up to get to this one, but it’s worth it for the view. Altitudes Bistro is a casual dining option with a great patio and unbeatable views overlooking the Lower Mainland at Grouse Mountain Resort. A second, and more elevated option, The Observatory serves up dinner and stunning views (from the restaurant’s large glass windows) seven nights a week.
