Adopt Me: These bonded beauties love the outdoors

Do you live an active lifestyle, love exploring nature and taking in the sunshine? Then you may have a perfect match with a sweet pair of Huskies.

Codi and Tobi are a bonded duo that ended up in the care of the South Peace branch of the SPCA after their owner became homeless and was unable to care for them. They got a second chance – and a ride to the Lower Mainland – thanks to the agency’s “Drive for Lives” program.

Now they face a final hurdle: Finding a forever home.

T&C

Here’s what West Vancouver SPCA branch manager Charlotte Ellice has to say about the girls, 10 and 6 years old:

These gorgeous girls are very much dependent on each other, and need to find a forever home that can take them both in. Tobi loves being brushed and lounging in the sun. They will need an active home, as they do have some weight to lose, and are prone to boredom if left under stimulated.”

Tobi

Tobi and Codi are sweet and affectionate, love human interaction and would do well in a home with older children.

Loving the outdoors would be another asset for a potential adopter. Huskies are a working breed that is very vocal, and need both mental and physical stimulation to stay well-balanced and happy.

These two would be perfect exploring trails and camping.

“If you’re looking for a silly pair to go on awesome adventures with — look no further,” says Ellice.

You can meet this dynamic duo at the West Vancouver SPCA between 12 and 4 every day.
